A dry contact relay has more applications than a regular relay. It can be installed in wet areas, control garage doors and motors. The relay is also smaller in size than a regular relay, making it easier to install behind a switch or outlet.

How does it work
The relay is used to control third-party devices connected to power, as well as to trigger automation with Aqara devices. Monitors power consumption and has overheating and overload protection.

Communication protocol and compatibility
The sensor uses Zigbee 3.0 protocol version.
Automation
Open the gate without getting out of your car. Connect the relay to the garage door controller and open and close it while sitting in your car. This will save time and effort if you are tired after work.
Light control. When you enter your home, the relay will turn on the light - for this you will need a trigger device, for example, a motion sensor or G3 camera, which will record the movement.
