Aqara Door and Window Sensor T1

The door and window opening sensor can serve as both a home security device and a trigger for automation, such as lights or curtains. Let the lights turn on when you enter your home. And if a window or safe is opened while you are away, the sensor will send a notification to your smartphone and turn on the alarm.

Description

Peculiarities

The sensor remembers the last time a door or window was opened. Therefore, in the Aqara Home app, you can create an automation that will remind you to ventilate the house if the window has not been opened for, for example, more than 20 hours.

The device also stores a history of events for the last month. You can see what time your child returned from school or whether someone entered your room.

How does it work

The sensor consists of two parts: one is attached to the door frame or window frame, the other to the door itself or window sash. When you open the door, the contact between the two parts is lost, when you close it, it is restored. With any of the events, including being in a closed or open state, you can set up automation - and the sensor will send signals to start other devices.

Nutrition

Runs on one CR1632 battery for up to two years. When the battery starts to run low, you'll receive a notification on your smartphone.

Communication protocol and compatibility

The sensor uses Zigbee 3.0 protocol version.

Automation

Protect property. Fix the sensor on the back of the safe door. If someone tries to open the safe, you will receive a notification on your smartphone and the siren on the Hub will turn on.

Return home in comfort. Install a sensor on your door and have the lights turn on and the curtains close when you return home.
