Description
Aqara Presence Sensor FP2" detects the presence of people in the room and their location. Unlike traditional motion sensors, "FP2" is able to record the presence of a person, doing this with high accuracy.
With FP2, you can create automations to suit your needs, such as turning on a desk lamp when you sit down to work, dimming the lights and turning on the TV when you settle down to watch a movie, or turning off the lights when you go to bed. Tracking up to five people at a time with room segmentation into zones of up to 30 units makes it ideal for use in families or offices where the position of several people must be taken into account.
The sensor can operate in fall detection mode, which is especially useful for caring for the elderly or people with disabilities. The device can record sudden changes in a person's position and activate a pre-set scenario, for example, sending a notification to your smartphone. Switching between modes is done in the Aqara Home app. The modes cannot operate simultaneously: if the standard mode that identifies users and their location is enabled, the fall detection mode will not work.
The built-in light sensor can automatically adjust the light in the room depending on the level of natural light. If the room becomes too dark during the day (for example, due to cloudy weather), the sensor can increase the brightness of artificial lighting. This way, your home will independently maintain comfortable lighting at any time of the day without having to manually turn on, turn off or change the brightness of the lamps.
