Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1

Wireless temperature and humidity sensor is one of the main devices for climate control in the house. It will record changes in temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure and start automation: with a thermostat, air conditioner or heater connected to a Smart Socket.

Description

Peculiarities

The updated version of the T1 has a number of advantages: it is more energy efficient than the previous version of the sensor. Therefore, the battery will discharge more slowly.

The sensor has not changed externally. It can be attached to a sticker or simply placed in the right place.

How does it work

Set a comfortable temperature in the Aqara Home app. The sensor will constantly take readings and when the temperature changes, it will send a notification or start automation.

The sensor monitors the humidity level in the room and can give a command to turn on the humidifier if the air is too dry (you will need the Hub M2 or the Hub Camera G3 for this).

Nutrition

Operates on one CR2032 battery for up to two years. When the battery starts to discharge, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.

Communication protocol and compatibility

The sensor uses Zigbee 3.0 protocol version.

Automation

Sleep comfort For example, a thermostatic head has a built-in temperature sensor that monitors the temperature only near the window. But if you put the sensor in another place, say, near the bed, and set a comfortable temperature for sleep, the thermostatic head will increase or decrease the temperature if it changes in this part of the room.

If it gets hot. Use the sensor with the Hub M2. It has a built-in IR remote control, so it can control air conditioners and other household devices with an IR sensor. When the temperature sensor detects a rise in temperature above the set value, the Hub will turn on the air conditioner.
